How to Unlock Rebirth and Respec in Elden Ring
The ability to respec your character is unlocked after defeating Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, at Raya Lucaria Academy in Liurnia. Unlike other main bosses, Rennala remains in the Raya Lucaria Grand Library with its own Site of Grace after her defeat.
Her Great Rune, the Great Rune of the Unborn, doesn’t need to be restored at a divine tower and isn’t equippable. Instead, it allows you to undergo the Rebirth process by speaking to Rennala, who is holding an amber egg.
To respec your character, choose ‘Rebirth’ when speaking to her. Note that you will need a Larval Tear each time you wish to respec.
How to Respec in Elden Ring
Use a Larval Tear: You’ll need to use a Larval Tear to respec. These are limited, so make sure you're certain about your new build or have several tears available.
Access the Levelling Screen: Agree to Rebirth and you’ll see the levelling screen reset to your starting class’s original level.
Reassign Attribute Points: Reassign your levels as you wish. Your pre-Rebirth stats are displayed on the left, while the right side shows the new stats, color-coded (red for below current level, white for the same, blue for above).

From the Site of Grace, turn around and follow the path to find a weak-looking enemy. Upon attacking, it transforms into a giant bear, which drops a Larval Tear when defeated.Village of the Albinaurics:
From the Site of Grace in Southwest Liurnia, head to a nearby graveyard. Behind one of the tombstones, you’ll find a Larval Tear.Siofra River Merchant:
In East Limgrave, take the lift down to Siofra River Well Depths. Cross the area and climb the scaffolding around a column to find a path behind a waterfall leading to a merchant who sells a Larval Tear for 3,000 Elden Ring Runes.Rose Church:
